Mixed media projects by Virag Reti

Hi Crafty Friends,

Due to the virus situation I have free time because I am at home office so I don't need to drive to my workplace and back.
It means that I save 2 hours per day.
I created 15 projects in the past month.
Here I the ones with wonderful Scrapiniec chipboards.

I preparean art journal spread with Gentle Sunlight collection:

I made some unusual cards. They look like a Christmas ornament. I used 2 layered Idea d'oro frame and Savage by Nature branches.

We started an ATC swap group in our Hungarian community. His is my first series of cards. I used Fantasma borders.

I hope you find some inspiration in my projects.

Take care and make art!

Long time ago... by Virág Réti

Hi Crafty Friends,

I haven't been here for a long time, because my life is really busy nowadays. I have so many projects that I would like to show you.

The first one is a canvas. I used big frame from Royal collection.

The second one is a card set where I used all my chipboard leftovers from Mehendi, Underwater plant and Far East collections.

This is a workshop project with Gentle Sunlight collection:

This was also a workshop project. I used Savage by Nature mesh and branches.

I forgot to show you this card made of a paper bag. Flowers of Winter collection is one of my favorite Christmas collections.

And last by not at least a steampunk style canvas with Flying Hearts wings.

I hope you like these projects.

See you next month.

Hugs. Take care.

Mixed media artworks by Virag

Hi Crafty Scrapiniec Fans!

In the last few weeks I made some new artworks.
The first one is an unusual Christmas card. I used a paper bag as a base.
The Flowers of Winter collection fits perfectly for the composition itself.
Here is the card cover:

And here are the inner pages:

I will have a mixed media workshop between Christmas and New Years Eve. The participants asked me to prepare one of my older projects. I used an XL size wings from Steampunk Flying Hearts collection:

I also used this collection for an altered brush. But I also add elements from Monograce and Park Avenue collections:

I hope you like my projects. :)
Thank you for stopping by...

I wish you a Merry Christmas filled with happiness and craft activities also. ;)
Have a wonderful New Year!

Hugs,

Various projects in various styles by Virág Réti

Hi Crafty Ladies,

I made 3 projects during the past month and I am going to show you all of them.
The first one is made as a workshop project for our Mixed Media Camp 2020.
It is a paper frame that I decorated with rice paper and fussy cutting elements and chipboards from the wonderful Gentle Sunlight collection.

Last month was about comics in our Hungarian community. I made this art journal spread during a Facebook live as an inspiration the our challenge participants using chipboards from Focus collection.

And finally I created two cards in grungy vintage style. My favourite collection is Mehendi and I can't stop using it. :)
I also added some borders from Fantasma collection to highlight the focal points.

I hope you like my projects.
See you next month.

Vintage love by Virag

Hi Dear Crafty Friends,

Today I am going to show you a layout. I have received a new paper collection and I felt that I have to create something immediately.
After I made the layout itself I coloured the chipboards with bordeaux inkpad.
and added them to the composition.
I really love the result and the bit of autumn touch.
I used wonderful corner borders from Gentle Sunlight collection.

I hope you like my project.
See you next month.
I have a finished project for you that I cannot show you right now. But it worth to wait till November.

Thank you for stopping by.

Sweet September from Virág

Hi Scrappy Friends,

Long time ago I posted here. I had really busy period. I haven't created so much, but what I made I really enjoyed.

We have a challenge in our Hungarian community. Our August was about "far east" and Indian style.
I show you my take on:

I used the wonderful Mehedi chipboard collection that fits perfectly for the theme.

My next project is from my workshop.
I showed another version of it some month ago. Here is another version. I used chipboards from Boho Love collection and a Mamma's Heart frame.

My latest project is made with Grapevine collection and the text backgrounds.

I hope you like my projects.
See you next month.

Message in a bottle by Virág

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our June was about sailing. In the Hungarian community we made so many projects in this navy and red colour combination.
I always prepare a project during a Facebook live show. I wanted something special that is connected to the marine style, but doesn't exactly refer to ships.
This is why I chose the hidden message in a decorated bottle. :)

Here my take on for the challenge:

I used chipboards from Focus collection.

Ahoy there! ;)

Alamore gate
Spooky House spiderweb
Tiny Wooden box

Some close ups:

I hope you like this crazy project. :)

Family circle by Virag Reti

Hi Crafty Friends,

In May I show you my latest creation that is a decorated circle I made to the girlfriend of my boyfriend's brother for her 40th birthday.
I hope you like the result:

Unfortunately I could take close up photos in darkness in a car, because we were in hurry to the birthday party, so they are a little bit dark, but the most important parts are visible. :)

I used:
Boho Love - big arrows
Mamma's Heart - small rectangle and square frame

Thank you for stopping by!

Hungarian Mixed Media Camp by Virág

Hi Crafty Friend,

I have made a lot of projects since last month. I am going to show you all.
Most of them are art journal pages for relaxing.

My first project was made for the Hungarian Mixed Media Camp's photo exchange game. I used Monograce collection to decorate it.

This is an art journal page pair with Magic Fall elements with TandiArt figures.

Every month I have a Facebook live show in my Facebook group. Our March challenge was about boho chic style and I made this junk journal cover during the live event.
I used chipboards from Boho Love and Focus collections.

If you are interested in you can find the step by step tutorial here:

And I prepared two more art journal pages just for fun with Preserve Memories and Mehendi collections.

And last but not at least here are some creations from Sugallatok camp's workshops.

This is inspired by Bea Mucsi's workshop.

This was my project, I made rhis 3rd time in the last month. :)

And Zsanett Szanto-Horvath dreamt the concept of this foil page:

I hope you liked my projects.
See you in May.

Filled with Happines by Virág Réti

Hi Crafty Friends,

I would like to show you some of my projects from the last month. We had a mixed media camp in Hungary and I made the following artworks there.

This was my workshop project. I showed the prototype some month ago.
Here is the second one in new colour combination. I used Doily Lace and Alamor collection.

The second project was made during Mónika Fiáth's (Punkrose) workshop. I really loved this dark background layout. Big text background chipboards fit really well.

We always have a photo exchange game during the camps. We got a photo from someone else and we have to prepare a layout with it. We do it in total secret and incognito. At the place of the canp these projects are hanging on the wall and we have to guess who are the designers of the each artwork.
This was mine. I used Boho Love wreath and big text background.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have a great and crafty day.
