Cards dresses by Oksana Absurdistika

Hello everyone!

The hour of my inspiration with you - Oksana Absurdistika. Just recently, I came up with the idea to make cards in the shape of dresses. It is beautiful and at the same time practical, because inside you can write a greeting.

The first card

This corset chipboard Scrapiniec. It is very spicy. You'll see below..

Nietypowa gra planszowa

Witajcie w słoneczna sobotę.
Dzisiaj mam wam do pokazania nietypową grę planszową, która wykonalam na zamówienie na ślub pewnej pary. Miałam wolną rękę, a jedyne wytyczne to było kilkanaście punktów (kary lub nagrody) - jak w grzybobraniu.
Po znalezieniu odpowiedniej planszy, pokryłam ja obustronnie gesso ( 4 warstwy) , a następnie farbami akwarelowymi naciapałam kolorowe, pastelowe kwiaty. Dopełnieniem całości była najnowsza kolekcja tekturek ze Scrapinca - Park Avenue oraz kilka ślubnych wyrazów.
Nie chciałam aby plansza do gry była przeładowana, więc jedyne napisy jakie się tam znajdują, to start i finish oraz nazwa hotelu i imiona młodych z datą ślubu.

A teraz zapraszam do zobaczenia gotowej ( w 99%) planszy, a na końcu posta znajdziecie pełna liste wykorzystanych materiałów.

accept imperfection - Tusia Lech

Today I would like to show you beautiful Scrapiniec chipboard used for creating Artist Trading Cards. Those of you, who know me longer, know also, that I am a huge fan of ATC and I have albums filled with Artist Trading Card from many exchanges. These small rectangular cards are wonderful opportunity to meet new artists and to have something from them.

Creating mixed-media background is my biggest fun if we talk about ATC :) So below you can see a pair of Artist Trading Cards with women theme.

Accept imperfection. Take time and enjoy the journey. These are sentences from 7 Dots Studio Illumination sticker set - they are perfect for what I would like to say. So simple.

I started to create background misting white cardstock with Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays. Then I applied clear gesso through stencil on left ATC and did some stamping on the right ATC.

On the photo above you can see left ATC, which I sprayed once more with another Lindy's Stamp Gang spray. On the photo below you can see right ATC with Izink applied in the middle.

Chipboards are colored with Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays - you can see how beautifully they glitter. Chipboards from Scrapiniec are white and absorb wonderfully all kind of media.

At the end I made some splashes using Ecolines - fluid watercolors.

I love all kinds of media – if I would have to define my style, I would say that media are the only constant thing. My favourite colours are fresh, bold greens, blues and pinks, but at the same time I just love delicate, pale hues of beige, rose and white. However there is something in my projects, what can be found always – a positive, feminine style. Scrapbooking fills my whole life – it is all around me – in my private life and in my job career. I love the process of creation – I have created things since early childhood – all kinds of handmade things always attracted me. I cannot imagine my life without making some art. Even if I leave for a weekend, I always take my small “art-bag”, filled with art-journal supplies. I am lucky enough to be a designer in a few very creative places. I love drinking coffee, reading books, walking through the forest, watching flowers on the meadow, basking in the autumn sun and being deep in my inner world. I can say that I am happy person and wouldn’t change a single thing in my life.
