Evgenia Kovtun here today. I hope you are enjoying every little bit of the summer days! They seem to go by so fast.

This is a bitter-sweet post for me as I am sharing my last project for Scrapiniec as the Guest Designer.

These were three great creative months!

Today I would like to share the inspirational canvas I created to decorate my work place.

My main focus were a  lot of paper layers and small embellishments. Scrapiniec chipboards Poppies and  Floral Decor added some intricacy perfectly.

Today I would like to share a set of mixed-media ATCs. They are all about following one's dreams. I like creating inspirational pieces to give out to my friends. This time I colored chipboards with watercolors.

Hello, dear friends!

Evgenia here today. I would like to share a mixed meadia layout. I had so much fun playing around with the pastes, mediums and colors.

Scrapiniec chipboards were a great help to create the contrast. Here are the ones that I used:

Honeycomb/ Plaster miodu arkusz

Strzałki Arrow mix SMASH

I painted them with black watercolors. I think, contrasting elements play important role in any kind of layout.

Hello, fiends!

Hope, summer's treating you well!

Today I would like to share a 10" by 10" layout with a large photo. I took this photo of the Eiffel Tower a few years back. Paris is more than 2000 km from my city, but I feel at home there. No words can express how good I feel when I am there. So I decided to ry and describe my feelings in the layout. 

The small photo is that of Chambord Palace - one more magical place in France...

I painted them with watercolors. I think they are a perfect match to this LO.

Evgenia - Projektantka Gościnna prezentuje

Hello, friends!

Today I am sharing a project, which is quite different from what I usually do. But I find it very exciting to discover new styles for myself.

I have created a set of two Clean and Simple cards. I hand-drawn the flowers with black liner and colored them partly with watercolors.

I must say that Scrapiniec chipboard sentiments were a perfect match for this project!

Hello, friends!

Evgenia Kovtun's here today. I hope you are having a wonderful time!

Today I would like to inspire you with some mixed media. I created a set of two bright tags.

To enrich the background texture I used a piece of Brick sheet chipboard. And to add some elegancy I used a few swirls from Floral Decor Sheet.

I hot-embossed the chipboards with purple, yellow and white powders. After adhering all the elements I added some colorful accents with Silks paints.

and second work:

I would like to share a vintage layout. I was inspired by my mother's old photo. To create the background I used Distress Inks and hot embossing.

Scrapiniec chipboards helped me to enrich the composition and the layers. I used:

Floral decor sheet

Camera film chipboard

Magnolia branch

Firstly, I colored the chipboards with watercolors. Then I hot-embossed them with the powder of a similar color.

Hello, friends!

I hope, you are having sunny and enjoyable summer days!

Today I would like to share the layout which perfectly depicts my summer mood: bright and rich colors, happy kids, bubbles and sun rays. 

I used Scrapiniec two-level chipboard to create the title of the page.

The lower level of it I painted with watercolors, the higher level I hot-embossed with the orange powder.

Hi, 

my name's Evgenia Kovtun and I am excited to be Guest Designing here. Today I would like to inspire you with my first project for Scrapiniec. This time I have created a vibrant layout. The colors were suggested by the photo itself and I added some pink for the contrast. That's my son, husband and me 3 years ago.

I painted these chipboards with blue and pink acrylic paints. Then I sprinkled them with the white gesso.

Witamy kolejne Gościnne Projektantki! Welcome our GD Team!

Wraz z nowym DT Scrapiniec zaprosił do współpracy także nowe Gościnne projektantki. Każdą z nich będziemy gościć przez kwartał. Nie powiemy Wam od razu, kogo wybraliśmy :).

With the new DT Scrapiniec also invited the new Guest Designers. Each of them will host a quarter. We will not tell you straight away, who we have chosen :).

Today you will know the another two.

I am 31 years old stay-at-home mom to two boys. I live in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev.

I have been scrapbooking since 2011. The year of 2014 brought a lot of changes into my art life. I had quite a long break from scrapbooking and I used this time to pair up with my friend and create our own scrapbook brand and paper collection. This gave me a huge motivation to go on in my art life. 

Now I am at the point of re-discovering scrapbooking, mixed media and cardmaking. And I am on fire to try out everything new!
While on Scrapiniec Guest Design Team I really hope to be an inspiration to others.
