Laetitia Pauchet - last guest designer project

Hello everyone,

Triniti with you today. I present you my last project for Scrapiniec.

I used colors that warm. I stuck Love and Poinsettia directly on my page to add contrast with my background. I colorized “life is good” with the acrylic paints.

The finesse of the chippies are wonderful ! Come and discover in the scrapiniec shop !

Hi all!

Here is my step-by step and you can find attached the photos :

/ 1 - applying gesso clear on his page.

/ 2 – putting down patterns on your background with the acrylic paint and a mask.

/ 3 - putting down patterns again but different patterns with a mask and soft gel mixed with gold glitters.

/ 4 - applying new patterns with a mask and gold interference gel.

/ 5 - applying water ink on th background (Neocolor II, gold 13@rts, ecoline, ...) 

/ 6 - stiking pieces of masking tape on the backgroudn and a strip at the bottom of the page.

/ 7 - to add contrast, stamping with the background stamps and a black ink

/ 8 - cutting a strip of tracing paper and applying patterns with a mask and gold interference gel.

/ 9 - mixing gold acrylic paint with some water and painting the chipboard.

/ 10 - embossing title and leaves chippies with gold embossing powder. 

/ 11 - using cardboard to add volume at the page elements

Laetitia Pauchet - triniti - Guest designer

My name is Laëtitia PAUCHET, triniti59760 on the blogosphere. I’m French. I live in Dunkirk, in the North of France with my concubbin and my two boys (5 years and 3 years).

I started doing pages in 2012 further to the birth of my son but I really began at the end of 2013 during my maternity leave. 

My number one topic is my children. I like more particularly the mixed media and the thorough work. When I begin a page, I use systematically the gesso, neocolors II, masks…
I like having my fingers dirty with paints and mists :-D I also love to make videos and tutorials.

To share this passion with other people passionated like me enchants me enormously. I would like to say thank you to Scrapiniec for this opportunity !!!

 My firts project:

Hi everyone,

We’re still in greeting card time. I wanted to create a starry background for this card.

I used a white paper where I applied a black gesso. I worked my background with the acrylic paints layer by layer until the background pleases me. I finished by making spatters with a white gesso and gold glitter.

Given that my background was worked enough , I left the chippies in its natural state to make even more show  the finest quality and the beauty of the lasercut. I used Holly Jolly - small wreath (http://www.scrapiniec.pl/en_US/p/Holly-Jolly-small-wreath-maly-wieniec-/4326) to create my card and I have fun with the acrylic paints for the background.
