Hi Crafty Scrapiniec Fans! 

In the last few weeks I made some new artworks.

The first one is an unusual Christmas card. I used a paper bag as a base. 

The Flowers of Winter collection fits perfectly for the composition itself.

I will have a mixed media workshop between Christmas and New Years Eve. The participants asked me to prepare one of my older projects. I used an XL size wings from Steampunk Flying Hearts collection: 

I also used this collection for an altered brush. But I also add elements from Monograce and Park Avenue collections:

Christmas bauble by Magda Łuczak

Hej kochani!

Zrobiłam ozdobę bożonarodzeniową! Bazę bombkową HDF (tę mniejszą niż największa) pomalowałam białą ecoliną. Dzięki temu bez problemu trzyma się na niej pasta, którą użyłam do zrobienia zdobień przy pomocy maski. Elementy scrapińcowe przykleiłam na klej introligatorski, a resztę ozdób - klejem na gorąco. Wszystko trzyma się bez zarzutu! A ponieważ bardzo brakuje mi śniegu, to wszystkie składowe tej pracy potraktowane zostały albo białym tuszem, albo białą ecoliną.

Hi there!

I made a Christmas decoration! I painted the HDF bauble base (smaller than the largest) with white ecolin. Thanks to this, there is no problem with the paste that I used to decorate with a stencil. I glued elements from Scrapiniec on the bookbinding glue and the rest of the decorations - hot glue. Everything stays fine! And because I miss snow so much, all the components of this work have been treated with either white ink or white ecoline.

“Holy Night” Christmas Bauble Tree Hanger by Adrijana Knez

Hello dear Scrapiniec family. Although it’s cold, I really love December. The home is always pleasantly warm, it smells of different biscuits, pastries and lavender oil. The family looks forward to the upcoming Christmas holidays and together with the children decorate the tree. 

And when I was received the new DT package I was happy like a little child, because there was a lot of novelty in it. I was fascinated by the Bauble Tree Hanger, and I decided to give it a new look in mixed media. 

First, I colored the MDF base and all other chipboards with white gesso. So, when everything was dried, I wrapped a hemp twine around the tree, and also colored with white gesso. For my Christmas tree hanger, I used three different metallic colors: Iris Potion, ... And at the end I added some Opal Magic Wax. When I was satisfied with the final image of the holiday tree, I attached chipboard frame and small houses I made from corrugated cardboard. After that, I added some chipboards and flowers painted with metallic colors. For a snowy look, I added artificial snow and white paint splashes.
