Hello Arty Souls!

Sylwia here with my recent painting:) As you know fairies are my magical addiction and this piece was made as a commission for a special lady who loves see, sun reflecting on water and poppies :)

I used many mixed media techniques and supplies to create reach and interesting texture. Gentle chipboards by Scrapiniec blended well with paint, papers, inks and fabric flowers (made by me:))

Hello, craft souls!

It's Victoria here today, with a new project. I dream about living by the sea one day, so this panel gives me inspiration. I like to mix nautical theme with flowers, and delicate Scrapiniec chipboards make great finishing touches.
Also I adore these large sentiments, they are perfect for altered art, layouts or albums.

This month we are sharing our techniques of colouring chipboard, personally I prefer heat embossing. I enjoy the look of melting powder every time I use it!

 I covered the first layer of the sentiment with spray and embossed the main part with white powder. Then I sprayed it once again to create small spots of colour on white.

 These magnolia flowers are embossed with white and mint powders.

 The stars are covered with blue metallic embossing powder.

 Delicate flourish swirles are embossed in white to pop up on the background.

Summer Layout

Today I want to show you a summer layout in light blue colors. This layout I have kept in a simple style when it comes to background and papers, and let the beautiful chipboards from Scrapiniec do the decorating job together with some flowers. Except from the title, all the chipboards are used "raw", in the color they originally have. The title is painted white, and then I have used a grey pen to trace the inside of the letters. This title comes with this a double set of letters, so you can get a 3D-title. I decided to use only the main one, and use the other part on another Layout later on.

Galachko:

"I like to color my chipboards with copic markers, inks, embossing powder, watercolor and eer penils. I have colored this frame with markers and covered it with Glossy."

 Victoria:

 "I used many chipboards here and coloured them in a few ways.
The garland is painted with blue and turquoise sprays with a brush and embossed with clear glitter powder.
The edges of the banner are coloured with a blue spray, word "sweet" and stars are silver-embossed.
Also I used mint embossing powder on the baby carriage.
And the bear is covered with some white flocking powder."

 Natalyia:

"Chipbord for this card at first I painted the ink of different colors, and then in some places added gold embossing powder."

 

"This mini-album is made of incredibly beautiful chipbord Scrapiniec. It is completely painted distress inks, embossing powder and stamps."
